ARTWORK, IDES
Peter Gunn, head chef of IDES asked me to create three art works for his new Smith Street restaurant. The hero image is a whopping 3.8 metres long print which was created in the kitchen at IDES and runs along the main wall of the restaurant. The other two prints tell the stories of his past - the fryer basket of his first job in at a fried chicken and chip shop and the shed is in Pete's backyard where he and the IDES team did all of the prep work for two years of pop-up restaurants prior to opening the permanent Smith Street IDES.
